Jack Johnson All At Once Initiative

Simple Living Institute is teaming up with Jack Johnson on his 2010 "To The Sea" Tour and All At Once, a social action network connecting nonprofits with people who want to become active in their local and world community. All At Once comes to life online at www.AllAtOnce.org and at every Jack Johnson concert in the Village Green, a collection of interactive booths where you can get educated, get inspired, and connect face-to-face with us and other local and national non-profits.

As a result of this partnership, Simple Living will be one of the featured participants at the Village Green at the Jack Johnson concert at the Amway Arena in Orlando on Tuesday, August 24th, 2010. Also, Jack Johnson has generously offered to match donations to our organization from now until October 15th!

How You Can Get Involved!

1) Visit www.AllAtOnce.org to check out what you can do before, during, and after the show to get involved with nonprofit causes in our community.
2) Enter our video contest for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Jack Johnson Show on August 24th!
3) Participate in our 2010 Benefit Concert at the Cameo Theatre on Thursday, August 12th.
4) Visit us at the Jack Johnson show! Please come visit us in the Village Green, take environmental action, get your Village Green Passport stamped and enter to win a chance to view the concert from the stage!
5) Help us raise funds! Jack Johnson's new charity is matching every dollar contributed to us at the show or directly to our organization between now and October 15 (up to $2500). Please make a contribution right now and your money will be doubled by the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation! Criteria:
The intent of the video is to showcase Simple Living Institute and describe sustainability. The video must be between 2 and 3 minutes long, and should include live action shots of Simple Living events, volunteers, and/or board members. Please contact us for permission prior to filming at our events. View our upcoming events on our Events Calendar. The video can also include still photos. There are stock photographs in our Photo Gallery that you may use. We also have Jack's permission to use his music in the videos!

To Enter:
To enter, upload the video to YouTube (or similar public access website) and title it "Simple Living Institute". Email a link to the posted video to info@simplelivinginstitute.org, along with your contact info. The winner should be able to provide a video in the highest resolution you are capable of producing and in an editable format like Quicktime .avi or .mpeg. All submissions are due to us by Midnight on August 1st.

Selection and Winner:
The top five films will be shown publicly at our 2010 Benefit Concert at the Cameo Theatre on Thursday, August 12th. The films will be judged on creativity, visual and audio quality, technical accuracy, content of message, and public response. The winner will be selected at the show that evening and announced before the end of the event. The top five contenders will be notified by direct email by August 7th.
