The Sweetwater folks had this spiffy lacrosse-type cage stick used to fetch fruit from higher branches. Kelly chases a starfruit in the Orchard.

Of course, we jumped at the opportunity to do some farming! We started by weeding a vertical area.

Next, James used a spacing tool to make holes.

Kelly plopped young lettuce plants into their holes, while Stephanie and her brother followed behind filling in the soil.

After the lettuce was planted, we planted two rows of baby onions between the three rows of lettuce. All done!
